This story is one of my favorites, providing brain-food and a great laugh from time to time. This fanmade cover was created by using traditional media, working with pen and paper layering the different shapes on top of each other with sticky pads to create a 3D effect. I kept the natural color of the paper and simplified the shapes to connect to the raw climate represented in the story. It was fun playing around with light and shadow transforming the original flat paper into something you can touch.
